In August 2007 – the second competition of the biennial awards for Design to Improve Life – the five winners were presented their prizes of 100,000 euro each by the Danish Minister for Culture, the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen and INDEX: partners at Copenhagen City Hall. Again, dignitaries and guests from many nations were in attendance.

WINNERS 2007
This time the jury drew the five winners from a group of 110 finalists and again focused their awards in the five INDEX: categories of Body, Home, Work, Play and Community.
